I am saddened and excited to announce that I will not be returning to the Old Man Golf Group for Season 2 of Many. It became apparent to me early on in the Inaugural Season that I was not able to compete with other members in this group due to sheer lack of teammate support. I am certain that the rest of the heater huffers will do their best to hunt me down, but the fact of the matter is that other Heater Huffers did not show up to 6am practices in the preseason and during season to work on improving their game. I know of multiple Lakeview Legends that were willing to put in the time and effort to become successful and I was just unfortunate not to have been teamed up with such dedicated individuals. I don’t think it will come to a shock to anybody that this is painful for me to do, leave without being on top, but after looking at the situation with my agent and my family, we have determined that there could be no good of wasting my time and effort to continue trying to carry this team on my shoulders. I would like to say a heart felt thank you to all my fans that supported me in my attempt to lead a team of tobacco users over a finely tuned and dedicated group of individuals like the Legends from Lakeview. That being said, if anybody else wants to come with me, this moment will be the ground floor of something real and fun and inspiring and true in this godforsaken business and we will do it together! Who’s coming with me besides…”Flipper” here?

Flop
September 6, 2008Well, this season of OMGG, the inagural season, was pretty much a flop. We found it hard to get guys to show up consistently as dudes said they would leading into the summer. Everybody is to blame on this one including me, next year we are going to have low expectations that everybody’s schedule will probably not line up as we intended this year. The Legends finished up with more points, so the Huffers technically owe them a diner… I’m taking out TB sometime, all you other jokers figure it out.
I can’t wait for alumni weekend!

August 3, 2008The Heater Huffers are so far behind, they don’t even show up anymore. Today we had 4 legends and one Huffer, so the lone Huffer took on the Legends and almost pulled off a split, but once again the Huffers choked it away on the back nine.
